PokerStars is combining poker and sports to provide a range of $100,000 freerolls that give the winners tickets to major sports events such as Super Bowl XLVI, Wimbledon 2011 or even the 2012 Olympics.

PokerStars latest promotion called “Game of Your Life” provides a ton of ways for regular PokerStars players to win a ticket to a major sporting events depending on your region (i.e. US players win tickets to US sports event, European players can win tickets to European based events such as the UEFA Champions League Final).

The Game of Your Life Promotion consists of six “Freeroll Finals” which will be held each week from April 17th up to May 22nd. The first five freeroll finals will offer $100,000 of cash up for grabs, whilst the winner of the Grand Final (May 22nd) will receive free games tickets to a sports event of his choice.

How to Qualify for the Freeroll Finals

PokerStars offers a range of ways for players to qualify for the 6 Freeroll Finals, starting with 5 daily freerolls where the top 108 finishers will advance to the Freeroll Finals.

Players can also use their FPPs (frequent player points) to buy into five daily freerolls with a buy-in of 10 FPPs. The top 67 players on the leaderboard in these tournaments will qualify directly for the $100,000 Freeroll Final.

The best thing about the Freeroll Finals is that even if you don’t successfully win the 1st place sports event package you can take advantage of special PokerStars bonuses as part of the promotion plus $10,000 in other prize money for the runner ups.
