U.S. Player Deposit Help
As we all know, "or do now" the UIGEA was signed by the Senate on September 30th 2006 and passed into law on October 13th 2006 by George W. Bush, forcing all US banks to stop processing funds to any gambling site online. As an online poker player located in the United States you are NOT violating the UIGEA or any other federal law, but you might be violating State or Tirbal law depending on the laws in the State or Native American Reservation where you are located. It is the players responsibility to determine the legality of playing online poker  under the law where he or she is located.

So we are left with three options for funding our poker accounts. The first and easiest method is through a processor called Echecks. To use the Echecks option all you need is a checking or savings account and when prompted enter your account and routing number and your deposit will be available for play immediately and you will also be able to withdrawal using this method rather than waitng for a check by mail.

The second option that we have is using a gift or prepaid card which does not have the filter that stops it from processing at our favorite poker site. The only card that still does not have this filter is the All Access Visa gift or prepaid card. You can get one at http://www.netspend.com/, they also list retailers in your area who carry them so you can just go to the store and buy one but you will have to withdrawal by check only. If you do decide to buy it online it costs $9.99 but if you use referall code 2269003968 they will add $5 to the card free, which helps with that.

The last option available is through a money wire, some sites use Western Union while others use Money Gram, either way it is the same idea, all you do is get a name and location from the poker site that you wish to deposit to and go to your local Money Gram or Western Union and send the money to that name and location and your funds will be available shortly there after.

Please be sure to sign up to the Poker Players Alliance at the left of any page on our site to help in our effort toward full federal regulation of online poker and get rid of all these silly rules and stipulations but most of all to have your voice heard. If you've noticed anything that we haven't covered or have any questions or comments regarding the UIGEA or anything else don't hesitate to contact us by Email below.
