Overall Review Launched in 2008, Aced is a relatively new site but is growing fast, due in part to the transfer of the Chan Poker player base when they stopped operations. The real money player statistics as of October 2009 are showing 1,000 ring game and 3,000 tournament players at peak hours. Aced Poker offers all variations and stakes of poker including Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Seven Card Stud and Seven Card Stud Hi/Lo in all versions, Razz, Five Card Draw, Five Card Stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, Badugi, H.O.R.S.E and other mixed games. The stakes that Aced.com offers range from ¢.01/¢.02 up to $50/$100. Aced has a player base consisting mostly of soft low stakes players while the high stakes player is almost non existent. Aced's main promotion is the "outs" feature which rewards players for completing such tasks as playing 5,000 hands, winning an all in bet or even winning a hand on the river when the player has only two outs. They also offer a good frequent player program and a bad beat jackpot which often reaches over $100,000. On top of all this they offer a royal flush bonus worth 100 times the big blind and a four aces bonus worth 40 times the big blind, both with no maximum pay out and you get the bonus just for getting the respective hand. The software offers a lobby with very clean and informative structure making it very easy to navigate, very good functionallity and customization. There are no really ground breaking special features in the Aced software but it is simple and very easy to find and use all of the features that they do offer. Overall Aced is a great place for the low stakes player and offers unique promotions that hold very good value. |
